The Jadestone Project client wanted to take advantage of the canyon and valley views of this hillside site and the existing traditional single story ranch house needed a better first floor circulation plan with a better connection to the outdoor deck and patio. A new modern second floor main suite was added over the remodeled kitchen, dining and living room. The central existing brick fireplace was removed and replaced with large sliding glass doors to link the back patio and to create a new open plan dining and living space.
